I can’t get NO SATISFACTION…

This is what I have observed to be good: that it is appropriate for a person to eat, to drink and to find satisfaction in their toilsome labor under the sun during the few days of life God has given them—for this is their lot.  Moreover, when God gives someone wealth and possessions, and the ability to enjoy them, to accept their lot and be happy in their toil—this is a gift of God.   They seldom reflect on the days of their life, because God keeps them occupied with gladness of heart.  (Ecclesiastes 5:18-20)

It is such a blessing when you can eat, drink and find satisfaction in the work that you do from day to day.  Solomon, in the Book of Ecclesiastes, says that this is a gift of God.  So, if you don’t have satisfaction in what you are doing everyday, I suggest that you look for ways to make your work satisfying.   If you try everything and you still don’t find your work satisfying, then start praying and looking for what will be satisfying to you.  Often, people let the salary dictate what will be a “good” job when, really, it should be more about what will be satisfying and rewarding to the individual.
You want to do something that adds meaning to your life, you don’t want to just go through a process.  Often, the only thing that keeps some people working in a position is the salary received.  That is a very good and real motivation, especially that bills need to be paid, but it should not be the main motivator.  The happiest people are the ones who get paid for doing something they already would do for free.  In a sense, they’re “born to do it” and they are fulfilling their destiny.
Find what matters to you and grab on to it!
